I just wrote a long rant about how The Bookseller has degenerated in the last few years and how a large portion of the people who comment on their site spew venom and bile on a daily basis. However, I stopped reading it at the end of last year and feel much better for it, so I deleted my post to cut out all the ranting :)
To answer your question, the publishing industry still has absolutely no idea where it's heading, how to organise itself or where it's priorities lie...
